This variety of lemon is called “Femminello” because of the fertility of the plant, which flowers all year round. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled. Limoncino Bottega is produced at the Bottega family facilities near Venice in northeast Italy's Veneto region -- the birthplace of grappa. In addition to grappa and glassware, this energetic family's ventures include production of wines and sparkling wines, wine accessories, mineral water, olive oil and organic foods. It is a creamy liqueur, pleasantly sweet and with a moderate alcohol content, characterized by an intense aroma of lemon.
